Effective Coaching

I recently had a conversation with a prospective client who was singing praises about their current coach’s success. However, they were facing a pressing issue – revenue growth.

Upon inquiring about the strategies their coach was recommending, the response was surprising – ‘money mindset.’ In just a few minutes, it became evident that this individual was embracing the idea of having a scarcity mentality, despite not actually having one.

I posed three questions, and every answer reflected a growth-oriented mindset. When I suggested that perhaps their coach had a hidden agenda, they concurred.

In their industry, there are two proven lead generation strategies that almost always yield results, yet this person had never even heard of them.

I found myself quite annoyed.

I often wish that coaching required some form of licensing, although it currently does not. One can always hope, right?

Buyer, beware. A coach should guide you toward your desired destination, not theirs, or more likely, the only path they’re familiar with.

Effective coaching encompasses five essential aspects: lead generation, sales, average dollar sale, repeat business, and profit margin.

It’s not just about convincing you that your money mindset needs adjustment.
