You know what’s always staring you in the face? Evidence. Life is like a mirror, my friends. Not sometimes, but always.
So, when you see the results you’re getting, should you consider changing what you’re doing? Absolutely.
But here’s the key: Change enough, and no more. Most of the time, it means focusing, testing, measuring, and doing things in a better way. It means committing wholeheartedly and executing with everything you’ve got.
Now, let me share something to avoid: Half-assed changes. Anything different that you also half-ass won’t cut it.
In fact, during our quarterly planning session for our own business, we realized it’s time to step up and apply our own principles. We’ll be dusting off the frying pan and feasting on our own cooking.
Here’s the truth about marketing: Almost anything can work if done superbly.
Cold calling? Yes.
Telemarketing? You bet.
Lumpy Mail? Absolutely.
Interviews? Bring them on.
Email marketing? Copywriting? Direct Mail? Referrals? Strategic Alliances? Yes, yes, yes, and yes!
But I’m willing to bet you already knew this.
Over the next quarter, our team will be laser-focused on executing our existing marketing programs to a whole new level. We’re talking about full-ass execution, my friends.
Because let’s face it, half-assing anything just doesn’t work. Whether it’s hiring, selling, or nurturing personal relationships, you only get what you give.
So, here’s my challenge to you: Give it your all. Every ounce of effort you’ve got. That’s what makes the journey interesting and truly rewarding.
Now go out there and make it happen!
